Plumbing Helper, 05/2023 to current

Joined UA Local 32 in order to establish plumbing as a long-term career path.

Currently working on a project in Kirkland, WA that includes three large apartment buildings with commercial/retail spaces at ground level.

Quickly moved up the applicant list to #1 in line for their apprenticeship program.

Barney's Plumbing

Plumbing Apprentice, 9/2022 to 1/2023

Service, new construction, remodel plumbing in both residential and commercial applications.

Most of the clients and contractors we worked with were high-end custom projects with expensive fixtures where tolerances were tight and very small margins for error.

This was a great opportunity to learn and improve with more challenging custom high-end work.

Responsible for a wide range of plumbing skills and projects including residential service, new construction, remodels, and commercial.

Iron County

Web Developer & IT Technician, 6/2018 to 8/2019

Development and maintenance of all internal and external county websites and web applications.

IT technician troubleshooting for all IT systems at the county office building, including computers, hardware, networking, active directory management, and all other IT related systems managed by the county.

Advocating county commission for the dire need for IT and web development within the county, and assisting the IT director and systems administrator as needed.


Software Developer, 2/2017 to 5/2018

Front-end software design and development in Angular, including UI/UX. Expansive use of industry technologies including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Angular, PrimeNG, etc.

Set up local development environments including Gulp and Webpack. Managed npm packages and other basic dev ops tasks. Worked with legacy PHP/JQuery code, and refactored old parts of the app using Angular.

Refactored old CSS including old Bootstrap code. Restructured the project in Sass/SCSS. Planned, designed, prototyped new pages and features using Sketch and InVision.

Squava is a SaaS business management software including online time tracking, management, invoicing, accounting, and forecasting for professional service firms and small businesses.

Tonaquint Networks

Visual Designer, 7/2014 to 9/2016

Designed and produced all company marketing collateral from design to print, including fliers, billboards, booklets, t-shirts, banners, magazine ads, web ads, social media, and more.

Designed and built portions of Tonaquint sites in HTML/CSS/PHP/JS. Redesigned and rebuilt Stone Cliff WordPress sites. Performed updates and maintenance on web sites/servers.

Directed employees and partners in following brand identity guidelines. Planned print, digital, and social media marketing campaigns. Implemented analytics to gather campaign metrics.

Helped this Internet startup grow its customer base and sell (at profit) to a larger company.
